Lanza Atelier

LANZA’s first solo show took place at SFMOMA from March until July 29, 2018 where they presented the 'Steps Table' which ATRA is now exhibiting in the San Francisco Gallery.

At OPUS Lanza will be exhibiting “The 3-Steps-Table” a collaboration with ATRA. The 3-Steps-Table created at the ATRA studio is a part of a series of furniture that investigates and questions the relationships we take for granted between our body and different objects. The design of the table that formally refers to the staircase of a modernist house, situates horizontal surfaces of slightly reflecting black granite, at 4 inches, 8 inches and 12 inches above the ground. These three platforms offer the user three heights, three shadows, three moments, three spaces.
